Prayer Requests/Updates

Update on Brianne Baine: 
Brianne went for an ultrasound on Friday and learned that the inner lining is pulling away from her uterus. She will be on bed rest for the remainder of her pregnancy. She will also have to remain in Texas until the baby is born. Her due date is October 4th. Please pray that the baby will stay in as long as possible. Also please pray for Mike as he is at home with all the kids.

Marva Cheapoo, her daughters and grandchildren will be leaving from Liberia starting this evening and will return to Atlanta on Wednesday evening. Please continue to pray for them and their safe return.

Genna Clark prayer request
I have a prayer request….One of my fellow teachers, Angie Murrell, died Saturday of a heart attack. She was in her 40’s and leaves behind a husband, 7th and 10th grader. She was loved in our Jefferson community. Also, a student, Jonah Ortiz, I taught in 4th grade and going into 9th grade took his life Saturday! I know both families need many prayers. 

Andrea DeLorenzo will be having surgery on July 27. She will have seven rounds of radiation starting in September. Please continue to pray for healing and the upcoming treatments. Cards of encouragement may be sent to her at 1244 Alcovy Ridge Drive, Loganville, GA 30052.

Rachele Gibson’s cousin Amanda Cohen is currently awaiting a match for a lung transplant in Pittsburgh. Pray for her health to stay strong while she waits so she can remain a candidate for new lungs. She’s a college student who has had to take time off of school after her health declined from pulmonary hypertension.

Update on Ken Lauderdale
Please continue to pray for Ken Lauderdale’s healing. He has 5 more weeks of wound care. We are so grateful for the medical professionals at Piedmont Wound Care and for Angie Ruhlen’s nutritional advice!

Amy Mock’s stepmother Nancy Mock is currently in hospice fighting an aggressive cancer. Please pray for Nancy and the family. Amy will be traveling to NC soon to help her dad with the care of her stepmom. Cards of encouragement may be sent to Nancy Mock, 12141 Oakcroft Trail, Laurinburg, NC 28352.

Marcia Redd’s brother William Mitchell was recently diagnosed with bone cancer. He has dealt with colon cancer now for 3 years. He is in the trial program at MD Anderson. Please pray for healing. Cards may be sent to William at 200 Milam Court, Irving, TX 75038.

Shari Mc Donald’s son Brock Shiffer is suffering profoundly from Parkinson’s disease and needs our prayers along with his wife Grace who is his caregiver. Their address for cards of encouragement: 3 Burning Tree Dr., Rolling Meadows, IL 60008.

Please pray for the disciples in North and South India as they battle with COVID. 

This Thursday, Kindred Howard has offered to host the Yo Pros at his house (1081 Crossing Ridge, Bogart, GA, 30622)! He will be leading a devotional, and we’ll also play some spikeball and hang out together outside.
Start time 7pm.
Feel free to bring your friends, and if you have any other outdoor games you can bring those too!

Dona Stephenson has decided to move back to Kansas to be closer to her Dad and kids. She is moving out on July 16th and could use some help loading the truck. Loading will start around 2:00 pm on Friday afternoon. Please let her know if you are available to help at that time.
