Prayer Request for Carroll Family

Denise Carroll is having surgery on Monday, December 21st to repair a bulging disc that is causing severe pain.  Please pray for Denise and the Carroll family…for relief of pain leading up to surgery, that the surgery goes well, and for complete recovery.  Derek Carroll is also having an MRI to find the cause of his pain.  Please pray for answers and relief especially in the midst of the other health issues in the household. Cards of encouragement may be sent to 1111 Timarron Trail, Watkinsville, GA 30677.  There is also an online meal sign up list ( https://mealtrain.com/265v98 ) set up if you would like to help support them in this way.

Carolyn Dees was baptized into Christ last evening. Carolyn is a long time friend of Grace Arthur and has been attending BEMA studies on Tuesday nights.

Michael Pauley was baptized last evening. Michael is a 7th grader in the middle school ministry. His family moved to Jefferson this year from the Hampton Roads Church in Virginia.

Greetings Family,
Thank you for you hearts to help children who are in need. Last year Mollie Mostert began a good work in providing for some of the children’s needs of the disciples in Pakistan. The children there get nothing for Christmas due to the extreme poverty in the area. The money you donate is tax deductible and goes directly for the children through the South Asian Mission Society. Please write your check payable to them. There is no way to do this electronically so a check is required. If you can possibly drop the check off at either mine or Dana’s house that would be helpful. If you can’t do that please let one of us know and we will be happy to pick up your check at your house or business. Thank you for your generosity and love for these children.
