Prayer Request & Updates

Elsie Mize is in atrial fibrillation and is very tired. Elsie will go in on Tuesday for a cardioversion to try and get her heart back in rhythm. Please pray for Elsie. Cards may be sent to her at 386 Orchard Circle, Commerce, GA 30529.

UPDATES:
Brianne Baine will be induced on Monday, August 30.
From Brianne: I just had my last ultrasound before the induction on Monday. Penny is looking good. They did a growth estimate and they are putting her at 6 lbs. 2 oz. I met with a couple neonatologists today to ask some questions….and now am passing on some prayer requests to everyone…
Penny Prayers -Please pray for:
-a healthy weight (this one’s in the bag)
-a healed back incision
-a good appetite/ability to swallow
-her ability to breath room air
-no infection 
-no major problems with her hydrocephalus 
-ability to empty her bladder and bowels on her own
Thank you and love you all!!! Can’t believe she is almost here! Trying to minimize her NICU stay!

Victor Payton has been admitted to Emory hospital with a blood infection. His cellular transplant has been postponed until the infection clears. Thank you for your prayers. Cards may be sent to 189 Imperial Way, Bogart, GA 30622.

We are just a couple days away from our Alpha Omega Campus Led Sunday Worship Service! GET PUMPED FOR COLLEGE DAY! We are so excited to pack out the church building with college students from all over the Athens area. We look forward to seeing you there and don’t forget, come dressed in your team apparel.

Starting Sunday evening 9/19 through late afternoon on Sunday 9/26, we get the privilege to serve several families currently experiencing homelessness here in Athens.  There are many different ways to serve in a variety of formats that will easily fit your schedule and life situation.  Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have ANY questions or if you need me or Rachele to partner and serve with you for the first time.  Thanks so much!
