Update on Greg Hunsinger’s mother Debbie Hunsinger
Greg’s mother is cancer free.Thank you God! We are elated! She doesn’t have to have radiation or chemo. She will have an estrogen blocker. They will begin doing reconstruction. We would like to thank everyone for your prayers.

Jennifer Rorabaugh’s father Rex Vaughan passed away on Sunday, May 1st. Please be praying for Jennifer’s mother Sacra, Jennifer and the family. Cards may be sent to them at 33 North Stratford Drive, Athens, GA 30605.

Continued prayers for those overseas with a mission
Perry and Katherine Hearn are in Chisinau Moldova with the RevivEE 2.0 Team there. Please pray for them to be guided and used by God. They will be back in July.
Mollie Mostert leaves for Moldova on Friday, May 6th and will return on May 23rd.

YOU ARE INVITED TO A BAPTISM ON WEDNESDAY, MAY 4TH

This WEDNESDAY May 4th at 6:15pm, Haley Sargent is getting BAPTIZED. Haley is part of the high school ministry. This will take place at 6:15 pm at the church building.

DETAILS:

For any middle school ( including fifth graders who will be moving up to middle school) and high school parents: 

Reminder: This Wednesday May 4 Congregational Midweek will start at 7pm. 

There will be a middle and high school ministry meeting right after service. This  meeting will be in the sanctuary. The kids will be in the meeting as well. We will talk about the new leaders and the plans moving forward. Look forward to seeing everyone.

 
Do you have a child that is interested in acting or singing? We are offering classes every 2nd Sunday from 10:30 am-12:00 pm. This is for ages 5-14. If you would like more information or a registration form, please email acocchildrensministry@gmail.com or text 706-713-6727.

Athens Church of Christ Softball Team is going to be in the playoffs at Herman C. Michael Park in Watkinsville on Tuesday, May 10th.  Time will be either 6:30 or 7:30 pm. We will update once we get the exact time. Come cheer us on and join in the fellowship!
