From Teresa Howard:
I have been diagnosed with a most likely non cancerous menigioma on my cervical spine at the base of my skull. I have been referred to a cranial nuerosurgeon who specializes in these, in Atlanta. That is where the surgery will take place. No dates yet. I was gonna wait to ask for prayers, but decided to let you know now instead. Again, really rare. Dallas and I seem to get the rare diseases!

Sunday service starts at 10:30 am with adult Sunday school online classes preceding the service. We will be meeting in person at the building and the service will be live streamed on the church website (athenscoc.com) and our Facebook page.

Reminder: We will not meet in house churches on December 26th. We will have a congregational worship service on that Sunday.

BOARD GAMES NEEDED FOR ORPHANAGES IN INDIA

Gently used Monopoly, Chinese Checkers, Dominoes (double 6,9,12) games wanted to take to India in early January. These are for the orphanage in southern India. All the girls there have Aids. Hope Worldwide has two other orphanages there who would be very happy to have these games. They live on a survival budget, with no money for this type of thing.
