Prayer Requests and Update

Marva Cheapoo’s granddaughter Daisha tested positive for Covid this week. Marva requests prayers for Daisha and her children.

Dallas Howard has had sudden hearing loss…SSNHL. They have not found the cause. The longer he has no hearing in his right ear, the less likely it will return. They have ruled out a tumor. He will have another doctor visit on Monday. Please pray for it to resolve completely, or enough hearing to return that a hearing aid may be helpful. Cards may be sent to Dallas at 220 Pointers Ridge Drive, Athens, GA 30606.

Ray Mim’s sister Wiltha passed away yesterday. Please pray for Ray and the family. Cards of sympathy may be sent to Ray at 377 Hargrove Lake Road, Arnoldsville, GA 30619.

UPDATE: Lauren Minter (Larry and Linda Minter’s son) was released from the hospital late on Wednesday. He still needs lots of prayers for his recovery. Cards may be sent to him at Larry and Linda’s home at 1471 Mayne Mill Road,   Watkinsville, GA 30677.

Unfortunately after this date we will not be able to store any items that have not been purchased by the church.

It’s that time of the year again! The Athens streets will be bustling with life as young men and women from all over the world eagerly arrive in pursuit of their dreams. We know God has been preparing hearts for this very moment so come and join the Alpha Omega Campus Ministry as we kick off the Fall 2021 semester with our Campus Led Sunday Worship Service. There is absolutely no better way to begin the semester than with Jesus Christ as Lord!
