Prayer Requests and Updates
Angie Malone was baptized in the campus ministry many years back and was a part of the Athens Church of Christ for a long time. She has not been active in the church for some time due to her chronic illness. She recently moved to Alabama to be closer to her father, who was not well. He passed away a week ago, and she is now in Alabama feeling alone and needing some love and encouragement. Please pray for her peace and comfort and send a card to her at: 10450 Highway 247, Tuscumbia, AL 35674.
Update on Ludlow Lawson from Meredith Howard (3/4/21)
Delivered all of the cards to Ludlow this evening! He was very encouraged and his brother was there with him. Surgery is currently postponed till next week but he is in great spirits and seems to be doing well. Let’s continue to keep him in our prayers.
Update from the Reardons
Finally! After many days and months of praying and job searching, Davis was blessed with a job in his field!! Praise the Lord!! He will serve as an Environmental Health Specialist with the Indian Health Service on the Wind River reservation at Fort Washakie, WY!
As such, we have relocated to Lander, WY, just a 15-20 min commute to his office. There are lots of places to explore – we already went and hiked Sinks Canyon on a whim.
Lander’s population is 7,500 people. Lander is a mile-high city–and I use the term city loosely–located in a banana belt or banana valley. We’re about 3 hours from Yellowstone, 4.5 hours from Salt Lake City, 4.5 hours from Cheyenne, which is where the only ICOC church in the state is by the way, and it’s a house church. We met some disciples there in person and will be joining them via Zoom for the time being.
His position is a year-long contract, so we will be here a year, Lord-willing.
Ruthanna still works part-time for Bank of America, albeit remotely in the Call Center.
