Prayer Requests

Jackie Embry’s paternal grandmother passed away unexpectedly yesterday. Please pray for Jackie and her family. Cards of sympathy may be sent to Jackie at 196 Magnolia Blossom Way, Athens, GA 30606.

James Hall, a former member of ACOC, has severe cancer. As of yesterday, he was told there were no more treatment options and he would be spending his final days in hospice care. But…doctors made a decision to do a CT scan this morning to see if there is any possibility of treatment that can be done for him. Please keep James in your prayers. Cards may be sent to him at 1301 Bridgewater Walk, Snellville GA 30078.

 

WELCOME TO THE FAMILY ELLIOTT!
 
Elliott Hood was baptized into Christ last night in Herty Fountain on UGA Campus. Elliott and Micaiah Chacon went to high school together and recently reconnected at the gym. Elliott will be going to UNG for spring semester to pursue a degree in Finance. He will be a rising junior.

Scripture read at his baptism: Philippians 4:13
“I can do all this through Him who gives me strength.”
