Eric Buchanan is home after spending five days in the hospital. Thank you for your continued prayers as he recovers. Cards may be sent to him at 1190 Oconee Crossing, Bogart, GA 30622.

Thanks for the prayers we are in a room now and the surgery went well the preliminary tests show no cancer but we will know more in a week when they run the full pathology report.  We are feeling optimistic!

We will be having a men’s devotional with the focus on “Amazed”!  Brothers, let’s come ready  to share about how God has been “amazing” you lately.

This is a reminder to sign up for the Marriage Dynamic class being led by the Gentry’s. Class begins on 8/29, however we need time to order the books and materials, so please reserve your spot now! Call Jamey or Tara to register or for questions.

Brothers and Sisters,
After a season of unpredictable circumstances and challenges, many college students here in Athens are overjoyed and overflowing with faith to see what God has in store for them this year. What better way to start off the semester than with a weekend of fellowship, worship, and biblical teaching at the Southeast Campus Training Conference! The cost of the conference is $175.00 which has made attending tough for some students. If you would like to donate in anyway, please contact John Crawford (678)-629-0725. Thank you for your generosity!

Please help us in welcoming back the VanBueren family with a “pounding”. Please bring a card and anything to help them stock their home/pantry (cleaning supplies, condiments, paper goods, etc.)

We’ll have a large basket set up in the church building kitchen each Sunday and Wednesday up until August 1st when we gift it to them when they move into their new home (August 2nd or that week). Let’s welcome this incredible family who are true heroes in the faith!
