Prayer Requests & Updates

Alan Bohnhoff is improving after 14 days of being very sick. He feels he has turned the corner with less fever and pain. He is thankful for all the prayers and very grateful to God for good doctors and medications.

Denny Pyle continues to slowly improve. Pray his ability to swallow will improve so that he can eat and drink. It has been 17 days. Pray for his physical endurance and to not grow weary. March 7th is his birthday. Cards would be very encouraging. (Address below.)

Joe and Elsie Mize’s grandson Evan Reyes is having tests done this Friday. He is 17 years old and has lost 3 more pounds. Please pray for a clear diagnosis and plan of action for healing.

A Time For Two

Join us for the Athens Church of Christ 2022 Marriage Retreat entitled “A Time For Two” held Friday and Saturday, March 18-19 at the beautiful Amicalola Falls Lodge and devote some time to your most valuable earthly relationship.

The retreat begins Friday evening at 7:30. There will be live music, dancing, and desserts. There will be two Saturday morning sessions with guest speakers Joseph and Lisa Washington and Randy and Theresa Scott from Gainesville, Florida. The Washingtons will be speaking to couples who have been married less than 25 years The Scotts will be speaking to couples married over 25 years.

What is included: Lodging for 1 night, breakfast and lunch on Saturday.
