Announcement from Kindred for Midweek, Friday Night Prayer and Sunday
Hello Brothers & Sisters!
I have been praying for you all as we begin this First Fruits Month and fast together. I pray that it has gotten off to an encouraging start for you and that God will bless it in amazing ways both for each of you personally and for our church! Below are a few key announcements.
MIDWEEK TONIGHT: Tonight’s midweek message will feature a recent lesson given by Douglas Jacoby to the Fayetteville, NC, church on the topic of ELDERS. It will be a great view for all of us, particularly if you have questions about elders, their role, who serves, etc.
NOTE: We are not suggesting that everyone must agree with everything Douglas concludes. Nor are we saying that our leadership’s views are perfectly aligned with his. But Doug’s in depth study and knowledge of the subject does provide some valuable and thought provoking perspective. It also reminds us that this is an area which lends itself to a certain level of “acceptable disagreement.”
FIRST FRUITS FRIDAYS! This month we will be having what we call “First Fruits Fridays,” which will serve as special times of prayer and scripture reading in an effort to keep the concept of consecrating/re-devoting ourselves fully to Jesus at the forefront of our hearts and minds. Those who wish to gather in person will do so outside at the church. We will also have access via zoom for those who wish to attend virtually. The schedule will go as follows:
FRIDAY JANUARY 8 Men pray/share scriptures
FRIDAY JANUARY 15 Women pray/share scriptures
FRIDAY JANUARY 22 Men
FRIDAY JANUARY 29 Women
Time: 7p to 8-830p
Where: Outdoors at the church where we had our outdoor services.
THIS SUNDAY: We will be meeting at the church 11am
