Habitat Build Sign-Up
We have an opportunity to help build a home with Athens Area Habitat for Humanity! We get to serve on a construction site on Saturday, October 29th, from 9 AM – 3 PM. No experience needed, come ready to serve and grow! Sign-up is limited to the first 20 participants. Sign up closes Monday, October 10th. Sign up here.
Leonard Patat and his mom Alberta live off South Milledge close to the bypass. Due to physical limitations, they need rides to the church building to be a part of the fellowship. No lifting is required, but Leonard is blind and needs direction to get out of the car and into their apartment and Alberta needs someone to hold on to for stability. We hope to involve as many as possible to assist and get to know the Patat’s. On House Church Sundays, they would like to meet with the group(s) that is/are meeting at the church building, so house church Sundays are included in this sign up.

Update for Ken and Linda Lauderdale
Please continue to pray for Ken’s health and treatment. We need his lymphedema to resolve, kidneys to improve, and just the right chemo/ treatment to eradicate the recently found cancer in his pelvic lymph nodes. Linda’s foot is healing well. Thank you so much for your continued prayers.
Karen Mims brother, Mick Skurpski, passed away Thursday night. Mick used to be a part of the Athens church. Please keep the family in your prayers. Cards of sympathy may be sent to Karen at 377 Hargrove Lake Road, Arnoldsville, GA 30619.

Mac Smith went to the neurologist last Tuesday. He is referring him to physical therapy and pain management. Mac asks for prayers that he heal enough to go to church.
Lisa Washington had an appointment with her endocrinologist yesterday. They confirmed her hyperthyroidism and need to run more tests. The doctor thinks there is an underlying condition. Continue to pray that the root of the issue can be found and resolved.

Grieving From Anthony and Patsy Alford Mike and Chloe Rowell have been two of our best friends for many years. Chloe passed recently from a long battle with cancer. We ask for prayers on their behalf.
Mission Trip Perry and Katherine Hearn are in Moldova with the Revivee 3.0 Team.The Hearns ask for prayers that God will help them be effective in helping others to be closer to God and that they also will grow closer to God while in Moldova. They will return the middle of November.
