Creighton Arrington
Creighton graduated from Oconee County High School. His first day in Kindergarten we were informed that he was doing his best imitation of Indiana Jones fighting off bad guys with his bullwhip (his belt) and almost got suspended. Since then, he has had actual roles in school plays since the 3rd grade. He joined the wrestling team his Junior year, making Varsity, placing 6th in Regionals, and earning his letterman’s jacket. He has received the Daughters of the American Revolution Award for his love & enthusiasm for US History. His love for God compelled him to get baptized and serve at The Swamp and serve Swamp Corps. He plans to attend GSU in the fall with a major in Religious Studies and a minor in History & Video Production.
Mark Beavers
Mark graduated from Clarke Central High School. He is one incredibly unique individual. The way he dresses, the music he listens to, the way he speaks and carries himself; he constantly reminds us that individuality is just as important as acceptance. He’s grown so much, especially in the last four years of his high school career. Mark was voted, “Most Changed Since Freshmen Year,” by his senior class, and he is in fact just that. He has learned respect and tolerance and not only practices it in his life, but shows others how to practice it in theirs. Mark is attending Armstrong Atlantic University in Savannah, Georgia in the Fall where he plans to get an education, and find a career where he can travel all around the world. Mark is a wonderful and compassionate younger brother, and a unique and inspiring son, and we are so proud as a family to watch him continue on his adventure through life.
