Gene Veal’s father, Larry Veal, passed away on Monday. This comes just six months after Gene’s mother passed away. Please pray for Gene and the whole family as they grieve this loss. Cards of encouragement can be sent to Gene at 1011 Riverhaven Lane, Watkinsville, GA 30677. The visitation is at 1:00 PM today followed immediately by the funeral at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church, 702 Elizabeth Street, Waycross, GA 31501.

 Women’s Christmas Activity 
Saturday, December 9 at 9am-12pm. The cost is $15 and includes coffee, drinks, lunch, and supplies. Pre-payment would be appreciated so we can purchase the food and supplies and get a head count; however, payments on that day will be accepted. You can pay on Tithely by logging into the church’s website and selecting the event on the drop down menu. You can also pay by cash or check at the welcome table on the Sundays prior to the event.
