 Our beloved brother Ludlow Lawson is engaged and soon to be married. This Sunday, June 11, there will be a basket for cards and gifts cards for Ludlow and Andrea on the welcome center at the church entrance.

Mark and Joanna Martin need childcare the week of June 12 from 8-5 each day for their 7-month-old daughter, Autumn. They will pay for the babysitting, and it is fine if people split the days. Please call Joanna at (404) 433-5606 if you can help any or all of that week.

Thanks volunteers like you, we are off to a really good start for our OPEN week (6/11 through 6/18). As you are aware, “OPEN Week” means we do not have one of our Host Congregations supplying volunteers for the week. Our greatest need to complete this week is Overnight Host slots for Wednesday (6/14), Thursday (6/15), and Friday (6/16). Besides these Overnight slots, we only have a few other open slots. If you are available or know other FPA volunteers that might be able to take any of these slots, please let me know or go to the SignUpGenius and sign up:

There are still plenty of openings for the second Family Camp at the end of the summer (7/26-29).
Remember that Shining Stars Performing Arts Camp is cancelled this summer. Please pray for Carrie Kelsie as she faces a very recently diagnosed serious health situation.

From Keith Goodwin: Abhi and Ashna Kashinath are a young couple who live in Elberton. For over two years they have been in the process of adopting a child from India. Progress is slow and disappointment (perhaps even discouragement) has taken up residence in their home. Please pray that God will intervene and remove the few barriers that remain so their family will be complete and a longing child in Asia will finally be able to join his/her forever family. Abhi and Ashnah are friends with all of the Goodwins, the Newsomes, and the Clarks.
From Angela Bewley: Parker Bewley had surgery on his ankle on June 5. Please pray for healing. He will be out of work for 6-8 weeks. Anyone who would like to send him a card and/or gift cards -maybe to fast food or grocery store – his address is 485 Township Court Winder, Ga 30680.
