Announcements 
 Mark and Joanna Martin need childcare for the school year for their 9-month-old daughter, Autumn. Hours would be Monday through Friday from 7:45 AM to 4:00 PM except on school holidays. They prefer the babysitting to be at their home, but are open to considering other people’s homes. A college student taking online or evening classes could be a good fit or someone in early childhood needing good experience and references. Please call Joanna at (404) 433-5606 to discuss.
 Sunday 8/6 – Sunday 8/13 is an OPEN Week at Family Promise, meaning there is not a Host Congregation supplying volunteers for the week, so they are in need of people to sign up to volunteer. If you are available to take any slots, please sign up here:

Bobbi Scott had eye surgery for lens implant last week. Please pray for healing.
Continue to pray for Brock Shiffer, Shari McDonald’s son who is a paralyzed Navy vet and has Parkinson’s. He’s scheduled to go to the University of Florida to see if he qualifies for stem cell treatment.
Michael Frank, a brother from Lexington who joins one of our BEMA groups each week, was just diagnosed with prostate cancer. He will be having surgery and would appreciate prayers.
