Celebration of Life Service
for Deborah Bennett

Saturday, January 4th at 6:30 pm

Please bring a potluck dish to share and we will eat together after the service along with Deborah’s family. 

 

21 DAY CONGREGATIONAL FAST 
BEGINS THIS SUNDAY, JANUARY 5TH

We will break the fast in our house church services on Sunday, January 26th.

Michael Mangum was baptized last night! Michael is married to our sister Jiyee and they have a 2 year old son Michael.
 

Calendar Meeting after Service 
this Sunday, January 5th

We will plan on meeting 15 minutes after service in the first and second grade classroom next to the kitchen.
Who needs to come? Anyone who wants to add dates for the church wide calendar. What are we going to cover? We’re going to focus on January through July for all events and major events August through December.
 

Communion Helpers

If you are like me, you are thinking about the next year and the ways you might be able to serve the fellowship.  One area that has a need is for people to set up the Communion plates and trays on Sunday morning.  This involves placing the bread on the trays and pouring the grape juice into the cups so they are ready for the ushers.  After service it involves cleaning up and putting away the plates and trays.  All the directions, the bread, the juice and cups will be provided.  The time commitment is probably around an hour if two are working together.  Around 30 to 40 minutes before service and around 20 minutes after.  There are 5 teams that take 1 Sunday per month.  That means you are committing to an hour a month.  If you are able to help in this way, please contact Rebecca Mapes, 404-290-3950.  You can text or call.  I am the coordinator for this and look forward to supporting you in your service.
